Sara is a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience in helping students discover their passions and future plans. As a former High School Counselor, she saw first-hand what skills and education students were lacking when it came to being prepared for life after high school. She also realized how underfunded and under-resourced our schools are. It takes a collective effort to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to learn about themselves, their options, and make informed choices about their futures, and Sara is proud that Project Next is able to provide programs and resources to help in this vein. Sara is an alumni of Point Loma Nazarene University (B.A. c/o 2002, M.Ed c/o 2009). She is a highly creative person who is hardworking and motivated to constantly develop her skills and grow professionally. Sara has been married to her husband who's a high school teacher for 15 years. They enjoy going to concerts, sporting events and taking their adorable goldendoodle on long walks.
