There is no one-size-fits-all path to success after high school. Every student deserves to know all their options and chart their own future. We reach students where they are. Project Next integrates our vital services into school settings without placing the burden of facilitating these activities on the schools. Future Centers—our high-tech hubs for Next Level programming—are located onsite at our partner high schools and staffed year-round by highly-trained Career Coaches. Students can access the Career Coaches and resources on demand, and Career Coaches can reach students in class or through class visits to the Centers. This design eliminates participation barriers, enables students to build trust-centered relationships with adults on campus, and enables us to work with school counselors and social workers for referrals and accountability.
Project Next is open and welcoming to all students. We ensure equitable access to college and career readiness opportunities by guiding all students through four foundational preparatory activities before graduation. All students are invited to access Future Center resources and staff before, during, and after school. We also provide robust support and programs for socioeconomically disadvantaged and workforce-bound students.
The Future Centers provide a focal point at each high school where students and their families have immediate access to post high school preparation and planning resources. The goal is to make college and careers relevant to all students by providing first hand career experiences in order to help them make better informed decisions about their future. Office hours will be scheduled so that students and their families can access these services both during and outside of the regular school day.
